Job summary

Expleo seeks a specialist with deep Life Policy admin knowledge to support core policy systems (Life Asia/Life400) and related integrations in a Singapore delivery environment.

You will collaborate with underwriting engines, front-end/mobile apps, and middleware to ensure end-to-end solutions. Strong communication, cross-functional teamwork, and Agile practices are required for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 4+ years in Insurance/Financial industry with 5+ years on Core Policy Admin systems (Life Asia/Life400).
• Knowledge of surrounding applications (underwriting, front end/mobile, workflow).
• Experience with omnichannel integrations and deployment practices.
• Familiarity with Agile/Iterative delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop/deliver engineering deliverables for Products Sales, Customer acquisition and Servicing solutions (Core Applications Life Asia, CCM, Underwriting, Workflow, Middleware with Front End/Mobile).
• Provide technical solutions and mentor junior IT members.
• Collaborate with business product owners to drive product targets and customer service deliverables.
• Lead technical delivery of assigned tasks/projects.
• Engage with delivery leads and engineers to articulate the technical solution across teams.
• Contribute to overall Policy Admin System architecture and best practices.
• Maintain awareness of Insurance/Financial industry updates to propose suitable solutions.
• Define technical design for launches, post-launch features, enhancements and new initiatives.

Overview

• Deep understanding of Life Policy admins features and functionalities
• 5 - 7 years Insurance/Financial Industry experience with a minimum of 5 years on Supporting Core Policy Admin systems especially Life Asia/Life400
• knowledge of Surrounding applications like underwriting engine, Front end / mobile applications, and workflow
• Good experience in omnichannel Integration
• Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies

• Knowledge of integrating with other surrounding applications around core application like Sales Portals, Workflow, and underwriting engines
• Solution-oriented and pragmatic mindset paired with strong communication skills
• Very good conceptual and analytical skills and a high motivation to define process automation
• Demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional and collaborative team environment
• Experience in application integration middleware (e.g., MuleSoft) is an advantage
• Strong understanding of Agile / Iterative delivery methodology

Responsibilities

• Responsible for technical Solution to meet demand and guide junior IT members in the team
• Partnering with business product owners to drive Product & Proposition target or Customer Service deliverables
• Lead the technical delivery of assigned tasks / projects.
• Building relationships with Delivery leads, other Engineering team members and business users across the organization. Being able to engage and articulate the technical solution across team is critical to this role.
• Contributes for the overall Policy Admin System architecture and design, providing best practice guidance and patterns.
• Maintaining knowledge and understanding of the industry verticals, critical for implementation.
• Maintaining a complete awareness of the Insurance/Financial Industries latest updates and developments allowing you to support/suggest appropriate solution for user needs
• Task driven. Be able to control and commit to the agreed timeline.
• Work closely with Business Product Owners, Tech-Delivery- Leads and other technical team members to define the technical design for Product Launches, Post launch product features build, Enhancements and other new project initiatives
• Finalizing the best technical solution for the business needs
• Recommending proper solutions for any issues / challenges faced by users
• Oversight of Core Application deliverables for Product launches, Post launch features, customer acquisition, Servicing and Middleware Integration
• This role will be one of the SME for Core application related Initiatives
