Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in life or general insurance business analysis.
• Proven track record in end-to-end project delivery and requirement management.
• Strong knowledge of the life insurance domain; familiarity with Life Asia applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and requirements activities with business units, tech teams, and vendors.
• Elicit, analyze, define and review end-to-end system requirements to meet business goals.
• Translate requirements into functional specs for technical teams and ensure shared understanding.
• Evaluate demands and propose cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Coordinate prioritisation and planning of projects and change requests.
• Lead QA team to develop and execute test plans and coordinate UAT with stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, escalate risks, and report to project managers and stakeholders.
• Identify risks (regulatory, financial, reputational) and work on mitigation plans.
• Build relationships across the organisation and provide solutions to external customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects and business requirements activities, working closely with business units, technical teams, and external vendors.

• Gather, analyse, define, and review end-to-end system requirements to ensure business needs and objectives are met.

• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for technical teams and ensure a shared understanding of development requirements.

• Evaluate business demands and propose cost-effective solutions, workarounds, and alternative approaches without compromising delivery quality.

• Participate in project and change request prioritisation and planning to support business strategy and operational efficiency.

• Conduct system testing to validate deliverables against business requirements.

• Lead the QA team in developing and executing test plans, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and effective coordination of UAT with business stakeholders.

• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and key stakeholders, escalating issues that may affect scope, quality, or timelines.

• Identify and assess project-related risks, including regulatory, financial, and reputational risks, and work with relevant stakeholders on mitigation plans.

• Build effective working relationships across the organisation and provide solutions to external customers where required.

• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.

• Take ownership of delivering quality outcomes for complex and business-critical projects, balancing client needs, strategic objectives, and financial considerations.

• Lead and coordinate the QA team to ensure successful end-to-end project delivery.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Min 3 years of relevant experience in Life Insurance, General Insurance, and/or Business Analysis.

• Proven experience in project delivery and managing end-to-end requirements activities.

• Good knowledge of the Life Insurance domain; experience with Life Asia applications would be an advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, process design, and solutioning skills.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage expectations across business and technical teams.

• Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
