Job summary

Bombardier in Singapore seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to perform or supervise maintenance on aircraft and components. You will promote open communication with related departments and ensure compliance with safety and aviation regulations.

The role requires an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License with at least 3 years of sign-off experience in Singapore; CAAS license is preferred. Flexible and hybrid work policies may apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on customer aircraft in compliance with Bombardier Policies & Procedures and Aviation Authorities Rules and Regulations.
• Inspect, adjust and repair, replace components, and correct any malfunctions with or without power applied to the aircraft.
• Access and reinstall aircraft components that obstruct task performance.
• Perform basic mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
• Document work performed per quality procedure manual.
• Assist with cleaning aircraft and loads/secures ballast or freight as required.
• Assist with fueling/defueling aircraft as needed.
• Assist Aircraft Technicians in troubleshooting and repair of aircraft.
• Assist with repairs on components detached from the aircraft (e.g., flaps, ailerons, elevators, rudders, doors).
• Work on aircraft and in component shops; assist with complex repairs on-site and off-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on customer aircraft in complying with Bombardier Policies & Procedures and Aviation Authorities Rules and Regulations.
• Perform inspection, make adjustment and repair, replace components, and correct any malfunction or deficiency with and without power applied to the aircraft.
• Access and re-install aircraft components, which obstruct the performance of the assigned tasks.
• Perform basic mechanical and electrical removals and installation.
• Document work performed per quality procedure manual.
• Perform other tasks cleaning aircraft using approved materials, methods, and equipment, and loads and secures ballast and/or freight as required.
• Assist with fueling/ defueling aircraft as required.
• Assist Aircraft Technicians in troubleshooting and repairing of aircraft.
• Assist with repairs on components detached from the aircraft, for example, flaps, ailerons, elevators, rudders, doors, and leading edges.
• Work on aircraft as well as in component shops.
• Assist with complex repairs at on-site and off-site locations.
• Assist other employees in the performance of their duties within area(s) of qualification.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

• You have Minimum Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License with at least 3 years signing off in Singapore, CAAS licensed preferred and experience in performing aircraft heavy/line maintenance.
• You must Hold College/ Diploma and / or equivalent academic qualification.
• You have interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
• You have planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments
