Job summary

Jet Aviation Singapore is seeking a B2 licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join a hands-on maintenance team in a busy hangar environment. You will ensure aircraft safety, airworthiness, and readiness for takeoff by performingcertifications and supervising maintenance activities in compliance with Part 145 procedures.

The role emphasizes leadership in daily briefings, careful planning for line and hangar work, and close collaboration with Quality and Safety teams to uphold the highest

Qualifications

  • Valid B2 license holder without limitations (CAAS or EASA preferred).
  • Prefer aircraft type ratings: Gulfstream, BBJ or ACJ.
  • English language capability to read and understand manuals.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties as an appointed B-level Avionics Engineer under company procedures.
  • Oversee and ensure maintenance records and certifications are completed accurately and in compliance with procedures.
  • Lead daily pre-start meetings and coordinate crew briefings.
  • Plan, direct, and supervise line and hangar maintenance operations.
  • Ensure adherence to Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and tool-control procedures.
  • Manage crew handovers, including clear communication and handover documentation.
  • Monitor the serviceability of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and report defects for action.
  • Support technical troubleshooting, defect analysis, and investigations, including drafting malfunction reports.
  • Provide regular updates to management on maintenance matters.
  • Ensure security of company premises and end-of-day lock-up procedures.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance safety and efficiency.
  • Provide guidance to team members to ensure compliance with procedures and standards.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Safety teams on audits and human factors initiatives.
  • Promote and uphold a strong safety-first culture within the technical workforce.
  • Adhere to company policies including Code of Conduct and security clearance requirements.
  • Undertake additional duties to support operational and program success.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform duties as an appointed B-level Avionics Engineer, undertaking certification and engineering responsibilities in accordance with company procedures.

Minimum Requirements
  • Valid B2 license holder without limitations (preferably CAAS or EASA)
  • Gulfstream, BBJ or ACJ is preferred Aircraft type rating
  • English language capability to communicate, read and understand maintenance, safety or quality manuals or documentation
  • Effective communication skills to exchange technical information
  • Ability to manage priorities of the job effectively and efficiently

Work Environment

The employee must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
