Job summary

MJETS in Singapore is seeking an experienced aircraft maintenance engineer (G550 B1/B2) with hands-on maintenance experience to join our team. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Company and Customer aircraft, under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager, and ensure tools and materials are properly calibrated and stored.

The ideal candidate holds an EASA B1/B2 license with a current G550 rating, has 5+ years in aircraft maintenance, and is fluent in English.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering in Aircraft, Mechanical or Electronics is required.
  • Holds a valid EASA B1 and/or B2 Aircraft Maintenance License with Gulfstream G550 rating.
  • Active G550 type-rated engineer with hands-on maintenance experience.
  • Preferably 5+ years in Aircraft Engineering or Aircraft Maintenance.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Flexible regarding working environment and duty times.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and service aircraft using ground support equipment, tools and vehicles.
  • Store and calibrateMaintenance tools, equipment, components and materials with proper tags.
  • Calibrate special tools as required before use.
  • Perform periodic inspections of ground support equipment per manuals.
  • Provide daily status reports to Maintenance Manager.
  • Perform scheduled, unscheduled and AOG maintenance on Company and Customer aircraft.
  • Order tools, materials and parts to complete maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with inventory of materials and aircraft parts.
  • Recall surplus material to storage area if serviceable and certifiable.
  • Monitor housing and facilities condition and report to the relevant department.
  • Other assignments as directed by supervisor.

Job description


  • Using ground support equipment, tools and vehicles maintain and service Company and Customer aircraft.

  • Ensure that aircraft maintenance tools, equipment, components and material that are assigned to the Maintenance Department are stored properly with appropriate identification tag and calibrated as required.

  • Ensure that special tools and equipment requiring calibration are calibrated according to specified requirements prior to use.

  • Ensure that periodic inspection of ground support equipment will be performed in accordance with the appropriate technical manual prior to use .

  • Report on the status of aircraft, ground support equipment and technical publication to the Maintenance Manager on a daily basis.

  • Perform aircraft maintenance tasks under the direction of Maintenance Managerin accordance with MJets approved Repair Station Manual, General Maintenance Manual, and Quality Control Manual.

  • Order tools, materials and parts as required to comply with maintenance tasks.

  • Provide assistance when required for the inventory of all materials and aircraft parts in stock.

  • Recall surplus material and return to the appropriate storage area providing that is still serviceable and certification can be confirmed.

  • Monitor and report condition/status of housing and facilities to concerned department in order that necessary action can be taken.

  • Perform repairs scheduled, unscheduled and AOG maintenance on Company and Customer aircraft.

  • Other assignments assigned by supervisor.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering major Aircraft Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.

  • Hold a valid EASA B1 and/or B2 Aircraft Maintenance License with a current Gulfstream G550 type rating.

  • Currently working as an active G550 type-rated aircraft engineer, with hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance.

  • Preferably have at least 5 years working experience in Aircraft Engineering or Aircraft Maintenance.

  • Be fluent in spoken and written English.

  • Be flexible with regards to working environment and duty times.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with a strong team-oriented mindset.
