Job summary

HDI Global SE Singapore seeks an experienced Underwriter for Liability Digital Solutions to drive growth in innovative liability insurance across Singapore and the APAC region. The role focuses on underwriting risks, developing scalable B2B2C solutions, managing portfolios, and expanding strategic partnerships with brokers, MGAs, platforms, and ecosystem players.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in liability underwriting, a proven track record in business development, and a strong APAC

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of underwriting experience in Liability Insurance.
Experience underwriting affinity programs, group policy schemes, and embedded insurance.
Proven track record in business development and portfolio growth within liability insurance.
Established network across APAC including brokers, MGAs, platforms, and business partners.
Strong understanding of liability products, including Financial Lines, General Liability, or Specialty Lines.

Responsibilities

Underwriting & Portfolio Management: Underwrite liability risks and manage portfolios.
Business Development & Market Expansion: Build relationships with brokers and partners across APAC.
Regulatory & Cross-Border Expertise: Ensure cross-border regulatory compliance.
Claims & Risk Management: Collaborate with claims teams to align underwriting and risk management.
