Job summary

ING Singapore is seeking a Lending Middle Office Specialist to define and manage operational processes for delivering lending services. You will interact with internal teams and external clients to ensure seamless workflow, control risk, and drive efficiency.

The role covers mid-office lending activities for complex bilateral and syndicated facilities, monitoring transactions, supporting drawdowns, and ensuring regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• A Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, preferably major in Banking & Finance with at least 2 years work experience in the banking industry
• Well-versed in lending middle office operations as well as familiar with the related front to end workflows essential
• Strong background knowledge of Facility Agreements and demonstrated ability to integrate terms into specific system conditions
• Background in the administration of lending Financial Covenants
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills essential
• Strong finance & accounting background with hands-on experiences advantageous
• LOANIQ system knowledge preferred
• Knowledge in SWIFT payment process would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Provide Lending support and handle operational tasks.
• Manage mid-office lending activities for domestic and international facilities.
• Register and monitor transactions in risk monitoring systems.
• Check drawdown and payment requests, monitor credit limits.
• Determine funding needs and communicate with clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Risk Management to structure tailored deals.
• Understand operations related to Risk, Finance, Payments and Financial markets.
• Develop efficient processes for tailor-made deals with Front Office.
• Participate in interdepartmental projects and test paths for Lending system.
• Monthly suspense and Reverse GST Reconciliation reporting.
• Regulatory reporting of TBGS and MAS610 H Form
