Job summary

Sembcorp Industries Ltd is seeking a Process Excellence Executive to support the Group Legal team with process improvement, legal technology, and automation initiatives.

You will map workflows, coordinate cross-functional programs, monitor budgets, manage vendor panels, and help measure ROI of new tools. This is a non-legal advisory role focused on operational effectiveness and data-driven reporting to drive the energy transition.

Qualifications

• Up to 3 years’ experience in any professional environment.
• A degree in law, accounting, computer science, business/management or similar.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, plus interest in learning new tech including data visualization, workflow automation (SharePoint, Power Apps and SAP) and AI-enabled tools.
• Strong written communication and collaborative, discreet and self-motivated working style for internal stakeholders across functions.
• Exposure to legal operations, legal service delivery, legal technology platforms, or project coordination would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Map, document, and analyse current legal workflows to identify inefficiencies and deliver technology-led solutions with stakeholders.
• Support rollout of legal operations programmes coordinating cross-functional workstreams and tracking milestones.
• Assist in preparing and tracking the annual budget, monitoring spend against budget, flag variances, and maintaining the spend tracker.
• Maintain the vendor database and support panel review processes such as RFP drafting, scoring, and benchmarking.
• Support the evaluation and piloting of new technology tools tracking adoption, time savings, and ROI.
• Build and maintain dashboards giving leadership visibility into matter volume, spend, cycle times, risk exposure, and team capacity.
