Job description

Responsibilities:

• Independently draft and review reinsurance contracts, non-disclosure agreements, service agreements, and other related documents to ensure they accurately reflect business intent and comply with company standards
• Collaborate with internal and/or external stakeholders in contract negotiations.
• Proactively track, monitor, and follow up on active contract matters to drive progress, especially relating to novation activities.
• Ensure executed agreements accurately reflect agreed terms prior to circulation to the relevant stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on drafting, interpretation, legal implications, and best practices in contract management.
• Administer and maintain records of legal documents.
• Undertake any other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in law or (re)insurance studies
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in similar role, preferably in reinsurance or insurance sector
• Knowledge of contract administration and confidence in drafting reinsurance agreements with clarity will be advantageous
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly ethical, discreet, and able to maintain confidentiality
