Job summary

Achieve Group's client, a regional energy organisation, is seeking a Legal Executive to support commercial, investment and project activities across Southeast Asia. You will translate legal risks into practical business advice and draft and negotiate contracts, while advising on corporate matters under Singapore law.

This role offers exposure to cross-border transactions and collaboration with internal teams and external counsel in a dynamic regional environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent; practising certificate not required.
• Around 2–3 years of in-house or commercial legal experience would be advantageous.
• Hands-on experience drafting and reviewing commercial contracts.
• Strong command of written and spoken English with excellent analytical skills.
• Meticulous, organized and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Independent while partnering effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Discreet, proactive and professional handling confidential matters.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial documents, including NDAs, service agreements, MOUs, engagement letters and tender documentation.
• Support legal documentation relating to investments, projects and business development initiatives.
• Advise internal stakeholders on corporate and commercial matters, including requirements under Singapore's Companies Act.
• Identify potential legal exposure and recommend practical, business-focused solutions.
• Coordinate with external counsel, regional offices and related entities on cross-border legal matters.
• Monitor business activities for compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal requirements.
