Job summary

Taylor Root is seeking a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join its Singapore-based team. This broad in-house role offers exposure to a wide range of matters across Asia-Pacific, working closely with senior stakeholders to provide practical legal advice and support strategic initiatives.

The successful candidate will draft and negotiate commercial agreements, advise on regulatory and governance issues, manage external counsel, and help manage legal risk while enabling commercial objectives in

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of relevant post-qualification experience in private practice and/or in-house.
• Experience advising on commercial contracts and general corporate matters.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially focused with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Experience supporting cross-border matters within Asia-Pacific would be advantageous.

This is a broad sole in-house legal counsel role offering exposure to a wide range of legal matters across multiple jurisdictions.
