Job summary

AIM RECRUIT CONSULTANCY PTE. LIMITED is seeking an in-house legal Counsel for the construction sector in Singapore. You will provide strategic legal advice, review contracts, and support project negotiations across multiple units.

The role requires a Law degree with at least eight years of construction-law experience, with the ability to coordinate with external counsel and manage complex EPC project contracts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law with 8 years’ experience and knowledge of construction law.
• Experience in leading negotiation and finalisation of construction contracts for EPC projects.
• Coordinate with external counsel and internal business units on legal matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to group of companies and business units on contracts, commercial and claims.
• Set up subsidiaries, branches, project offices, and liquidation of such set up.
• Coordinate with external legal counsels and oversee the progress of their work.
• Coordinate with and advise business units and departments on legal and contractual matters.

1. In-house legal Counsel /Up to $7,500 /Construct Industry @Boon Lay

• Provide legal advice to group of companies and business units on a broad range of legal, contractual, corporate and commercial issues; including contracts review, drafting, negotiation and advisory Support commercial, contract and claims management of projects.

• Setting up of subsidiaries, associates, branches and project offices, and liquidation of such set up.

• Coordinate with external legal counsels and consultants and oversee the progress of their work

• Coordinate with and advise business units and departments on legal and contractual matters

• Degree in Law with 8 years’ experience, and knowledge of construction law.

• Experience in leading negotiation and finalisation of construction contracts, particularly for engineering, procurement and construction projects.
