Job summary

Job description

• Support Hongkong Land’s acquisitions, disposals (M&A) and fund initiatives across the Asia Pacific region
• Manage M&A transaction structuring, due diligence, negotiation, documentation and completion, ensuring legal risks are appropriately identified and mitigated
• Monitor and assess legal and regulatory developments relevant to corporate transactions in key jurisdictions
• Support fund-related initiatives, joint ventures, co investments and other third party arrangements led by the corporate transactions team
• Liaise with both external counsel and internal stakeholders to deliver timely legal support and ensure seamless transaction execution
• Provide corporate advisory support on transaction related corporate matters, including governance, regulatory compliance and risk management
• Assist with post transaction integration and the ongoing management of investment and holding structures

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with at least 7 years’ PQE, gained from reputable international law firms and/or in house legal teams
• Solid experience in M&A and corporate transactions, ideally within or supporting the real estate or asset management sector
• Demonstrated understanding of Asia-Pacific legal and regulatory landscapes and experience managing multi-jurisdictional transactions preferred
• Strong commercial judgment and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of professionalism and commercial acumen
