Qualifikationen

• Degree in law from an established educational institute.
• Admission to Singapore Bar is highly preferred.
• At least 2–3 years PQE in a law firm or in-house counsel.
• Strong commercial and corporate legal foundation with a practical, business-minded approach.
• Proficient in drafting, negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
• Able to handle day-to-day matters independently.
• People person, comfortable working across cultures and functions.

Aufgaben

• Advise business units and senior management on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters, with a focus on logistics and supply chain operations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, with supervision provided on complex matters.
• Support compliance infrastructure with local and international frameworks and assist in establishing practical corporate compliance guidelines.
• Assist with disputes and litigation, including document management and coordination with external counsel and authorities.
• Provide legal support for M&A, restructurings, and inter-company agreements, including basic due diligence.
• Work with external counsel by preparing instructions, reviewing draft advice, and tracking timelines.
• Act as the main legal contact for Group, covering corporate housekeeping, auditor queries, and special projects.
• Track legal and regulatory developments and share short updates with stakeholders.
• Attend to management and/or board meetings, and other duties as required.
