Job summary

Bridgestone Asia Pacific is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its Legal and Compliance Team at the Regional Head Office in Singapore. The role will manage a range of legal, compliance, and risk support across APAC geographies.

Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, advising internal stakeholders, and coordinating with external counsel, while supporting anti-bribery, antitrust, sanctions, and data privacy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law (LL.B) or equivalent.
• Professional legal qualification (Bar admission or solicitor's qualification).
• 7–10 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or corporate in-house legal department (MNC preferred).

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (procurement, OEM, distributorship).
• Advise internal stakeholders and manage external counsel.
