Job summary

Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore seeks a Lecturer in the School of Design & Environment for a 2-year contract. You will develop and deliver modules, conduct assessments, and lead in curriculum integration across multiple disciplines.

You will teach both in-class and online, mentor diploma students, and run CET evening classes (6:00 PM – 10:00 PM) for working professionals. Prior industry experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Building or Civil Engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, 3D modeling software, and core office applications.
• Strong communication across written, oral, and graphic mediums.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring in both physical and digital spaces.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and deliver lectures, tutorials, and labs for classroom and online learning.
• Design and update module content across at least three core discipline areas.
• Guide diploma students through projects, industry attachments, and progression.
• Conduct evening CET classes for working professionals (typical hours 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM).
