Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. in Singapore seeks a Lean leader to coach, drive and implement lean principles across an operating area. The role aims to achieve step-change improvements in safety, quality, delivery and cost, while transforming the culture to a Lean mindset.

You will lead kaizen events, standard work deployment, daily management, and problem solving, partner with global teams, and mentor line leaders and technicians to sustain improvements and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations/lean/technical.

Responsibilities

• Drive performance on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost.
• Support cell leaders, operation leaders, product engineers, supervisors and technicians.
• Implement standard work / playbook for lean lines to achieve EHS, Quality, Productivity, Cost, Delivery, Heijunka.
• Lead problem solving sessions, kaizen events, lean roadmap planning.
• Coach lean methodologies to new Kaizen team leaders, professionals & line leaders.
• Challenge norms and lead breakthroughs.
• Manage communications with key stakeholders.
• Support talent development through a Lean mindset.
• Lead Lean action workouts and drive completion for Kaizen actions.
• Implement flow, daily management, problem solving culture, TAKT attainment, 3P exercises.
• Drive cell performance through lean digital resources.
• Partner with global teams to optimize production through pull system for on-time delivery.
• Drive WIP reduction, lead time reduction, productivity targets, TPM.
• Lead moonshine activities through KPO management.
• Read across best practices and support kaizen activities for regional repair facilities.
