Job summary

Emerson Asia Pacific Private Limited in Singapore seeks a Production Line Leader to support daily manufacturing operations, coordinate line activities, and help ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. You will work closely with team members and supervisors to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement while delivering products that meet customer expectations.

You will perform workstation tasks, conduct in-process quality checks, maintain a clean and safe workplace,

Qualifications

• Secondary education or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing, production, assembly, or industrial environment.
• Ability to coordinate and support the activities of a production team.
• Effective communication in English for operational purposes.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Perform workstation tasks per procedures and quality requirements.
• Conduct in-process quality checks on materials and assemblies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for tools and stations.
• Meet production cycle times and support manufacturing schedules.
• Follow safety procedures and promote a culture of safety.
• Support and follow lean manufacturing initiatives like Kanban and FIFO.
• Collect and compile production data to support continuous improvement.
• Identify, document, and communicate issues to stakeholders.
• Perform basic cleaning and preventive maintenance on automation equipment.
