Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee assembly, inspection, and testing activities on the manufacturing floor. You will set daily priorities, schedule tasks, and lead a team through lean initiatives while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate cross-functional efforts, monitor performance metrics, and mentor staff to improve efficiency and morale. The role requires hands-on leadership in a high-volume environment with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervises employees involved in production and/or operation functions related to manufacturing of capital equipment and systems.
• Sets up daily team priorities, develops work schedules and assigns tasks.
• Organizes and facilitates work team meetings (pre-shift, safety).
• Participates in development and tracking of organization performance metrics.
• Responsible for meeting or improving cycle time performance and other metrics.
• Coordinates efforts of service and/or customer groups to meet production schedules.
• Identifies process and quality changes to improve capabilities; drives Lean, Safety and Quality; takes corrective action.
