Job summary

Avanta Global in Singapore is seeking a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) to advise on safety measures and lead compliance efforts. You will perform daily project inspections and help ensure regulatory adherence.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of WSHO experience, is registered, and is skilled in data analysis and reporting statistics. You will lead a team of WSH Coordinators and contribute to safety training and campaigns.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years' experience as WSHO.
• Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer.
• Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspection of project work and activities.
• Lead and assist in investigating any near miss, incident or accident, dangerous occurrence that occurs.
• Develop documentation for the Project - Risk Assessment, Safe Work Procedures, etc.
• Conduct internal Safety related training
• Manage and lead a team of WSH Coordinators
• Prepare safety reports and statutory reports in the required formats;
• Organize safety promotion and health campaigns, training courses.
