Job summary

Woh Hup Group is seeking a WSHE Officer to safeguard workplace health and safety across construction activities in Singapore. You will implement WSHE procedures, maintain records, and support the WSHE committee while driving a proactive safety culture.

The role requires strong knowledge of WSH regulations, relevant registrations, and at least 5 years in construction. You will lead inspections, trainings and incident investigations to prevent future risks.

Qualifications

• Education: Specialist Diploma in Safety, Health and Environment as required by MOM.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in the Construction industry.
• Registrations: WSHO with MOM and Environmental Control Officer with NEA.
• Certifications: Lifting Supervisors Safety, Scaffold Ejection, Confined Space, Noise and Vibration control.

Responsibilities

• Carry out WSHE tasks to ensure a safe workplace and culture.
• Discharge duties under WSH Act and related regulations.
• Maintain WSHE procedures, admin and recording system.
• Assist WSHE committee and act as secretary to the committee.
• Conduct WSHE inspections and prepare reports.
• Organize WSHE briefings and training for all employees.
• Investigate incidents and develop preventive measures.
• Ensure risk assessments and controls are implemented.
• Be prepared to stop work or notify Project Manager for deviations.
