Job summary

Singapore University of Social Sciences seeks an experienced leader for Sustainability and Smart Technologies Management in its flagship campus project. The role drives M&E engineering works, feasibility, budgeting, and tender governance to deliver a sustainable, high-performance campus aligned with Green Mark Platinum goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field is required.
• At least 15 years in sustainability/smart tech management and engineering experience.
• Experience in planning, design and implementation of sustainability and smart building solutions.
• Green Mark Accredited Professional with Green Mark Platinum/SLE experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of government policies and regulatory frameworks for development projects is an advantage.
• Strong people skills; proficient in MS Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Sustainability Management including feasibility, budgeting, funding approvals and tender processes.
• Evaluate sustainability solutions proposed by consultants to meet objectives, timeline, and budget.
• Oversee Smart Technologies Management including feasibility studies and tender processes.
• Evaluate smart tech solutions and security systems to meet project objectives, timeline and budget.
• Provide technical advice on green buildings; manage Intelligent Building Management System setup.
• Lead external consultants and site staff; liaise with government agencies to ensure compliance.
• Guide junior team members in smart building systems, M&E planning, and tender processes.
• Ensure on-site progress, quality, and budget adherence; conduct site inspections.
• Represent SUSS in meetings regarding campus development and green buildings.
