Job summary

Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) is seeking an Associate Director (Technical & Engineering) to lead the M&E engineering team and oversee smart building initiatives for the new flagship campus and related projects.

The role requires deep technical leadership, strong stakeholder engagement, and a track record in delivering large-scale development projects with a focus on sustainability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Master's Degree is an advantage.
• Registered Professional Engineer is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical planning and development of M&E engineering works, smart building initiatives, environmental sustainability strategies, campus-wide security solutions, audio-visual technologies and project management for building, fit-out and infrastructure projects.
• Develop objectives, roadmaps and requirements for sustainable, secure and intelligent M&E infrastructure solutions.
• Engage with authorities and external stakeholders to obtain technical clearances and manage external resources.
• Lead and manage the internal M&E technical team for delivery with future-proofing considerations.
• Oversee M&E aspects from conceptualisation to completion, monitor risks and ensure integration with other projects.
• Provide technical advice and engineering solutions to construction challenges.
