Job summary

KidsFirst PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Teacher to support children with special needs within a dedicated Early Intervention Program (EIP).

You will create lesson plans, track progress, and develop IEP goals while collaborating with a multi-professional team. You will liaise with parents and contribute to progress reports, with mentorship for junior teachers in a central Singapore location.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Special Education required.
• Experience teaching children with special needs.
• Proficiency in English writing and communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lessons in a specialized small group Early Intervention Program (EIP) setting.
• Create lesson plans and curriculum and track student progress.
• Prepare Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) goals for students and contribute to progress reports.
• Create learning activities and support supervision and implementation of learning/behaviour plans; assist with daily living skills.
• Collaborate with a multi-professional team of teachers and therapists.
• Maintain student files, attendance forms and visuals.
• Liaise with parents to support skill development.
• Mentor junior teachers is valued.
