Grab is seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to guide the development of cutting-edge financial solutions within our Payment Acquiring team. This Individual Contributor role reports to the Senior Engineering Manager and is based in Singapore.

You will lead cross-functional collaboratio ns, drive feature development, set coding standards, and partner with stakeholders to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of iOS and Flutter development experience.
• Strong proficiency in mobile development with Swift and Dart.
• Hands-on experience with APP life cycle and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver end-to-end across teams.
• Balance hands-on engineering with leadership responsibilities and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and ship new features.
• Establish best practices for development and ensure coding standards are met.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot critical issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and deliver projects end‑to‑end across teams
• Ability to balance hands‑on engineering with leadership responsibilities—mentoring others while still writing code and driving execution plans
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively across teams
• Thrives in fast‑paced, dynamic environments and consistently delivers high‑quality outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with payments
• Experience with BE development
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Fluent with AI tools like Cursor | Claude | CodeX
