Job summary

Grab is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for Mobile (iOS and Flutter) based in Singapore. This role is an Individual Contributor reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager and focuses on building cutting-edge mobile financial features across Grab’s apps.

You will lead by example, mentor engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and shape best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimizations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 7+ years of iOS and Flutter development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and Dart.
• Hands-on experience with app lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver end-to-end across teams.
• Leadership skills with mentoring while still coding.

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our innovative team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development of cutting‑edge financial solutions, driving and fostering a collaborative environment. The role is an Individual Contributor role and reports directly to the Senior Engineering Manager.

You will be based in Singapore.

Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest technologies and industry trends
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of iOS and Flutter development experience
• Strong proficiency in mobile development with Swift and Dart
• Hands‑on experience with APP life cycle and CI/CD pipelines
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and deliver projects end‑to‑end across teams
• Ability to balance hands‑on engineering with leadership responsibilities—mentoring others while still writing code and driving execution plans
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively across teams
• Thrives in fast‑paced, dynamic environments and consistently delivers high‑quality outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with payments
• Experience with BE development
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Fluent with AI tools like Cursor, Claude, and CodeX
