Job summary

BeathChapman Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Lead Software Engineer who remains hands-on and enjoys mentoring other developers. You will lead a small team while continuing to contribute to code and architecture decisions.

You will design scalable full-stack systems, APIs, and components, review code for security, and drive DevSecOps practices. Collaboration with analysts, designers, and infrastructure teams is essential to deliver reliable, high-performance software.

Qualifications

• Around 6 years or more of software development experience with solid full-stack work.
• Experience leading, mentoring or guiding other developers is important for this role.
• Experience building web applications and RESTful APIs.
• Comfortable across modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Sound understanding of system design, secure coding and development best practices.
• Exposure to AWS or Azure and CI/CD.
• Used to working in Agile teams.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills, and a real interest in developing other engineers.
• Government or public-sector project experience is a plus, but not required.
