You will code in Scala and Java, design distributed systems in a cloud environment, and collaborate across global teams to deliver scalable solutions. This role offers exposure to a premier financial services firm and diverse engineering challenges.

Qualifications

• Hands-on coding in Scala multi-threaded applications and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud deployment and messaging systems (Kafka/MQ).
• Experience with non-SQL databases and mono-repo architectures.
• Strong software engineering, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and communication skills; keen to learn finance, especially commodities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with product leads and discuss opportunities for improvement.
• Hands-on coding in Scala multi-threaded applications and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud deployment and Kafka/MQ messaging systems.
• Experience with non-SQL databases; mono-repo, reference transparent, React programming and graph calculation.
