Qualifications

• Experience leading software engineering teams and projects.
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and version control systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab).
• Design and implement J2EE applications with SQL and shell scripting.
• Understand server-side tech, microservices, web services, RESTful APIs, containers, Kubernetes.
• Experience with RHEL, JBOSS EAP, OpenShift/OpenStack, Maven, Oracle DB, MS SQL Server.
• Build front-end interfaces (React, Angular) and back-end services (Python, Java).
• Database design and optimization for performance.
• Secure coding practices and application security testing.
• Automated testing integration (Selenium/Watermelon) into CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong communication to explain complex tech to diverse audiences.
• Ability to streamline operations and automate processes to speed releases.

Responsibilities

• Oversee functional, performance, and security testing to ensure robust software.
• Architect and develop backend systems, cloud apps, and data structures for scalable software.
• Define and implement infrastructure as code across components and systems.
• Guide frontend and cloud app development, evaluating trade-offs and decisions.
• Design and oversee software architecture, covering functional and non-functional requirements.
• Manually review vendor-delivered code to verify implementation per design.
