Job summary

Virtusa Singapore is seeking a backend software engineer to develop and maintain Python applications that receive and process IFC files, while building AI-powered pipelines for 3D building model checks. You will review and refine AI-generated code and deploy the application on AWS using infrastructure as code.

The role also covers crafting CI/CD pipelines on GitLab, collaborating on PostgreSQL-driven data stores, and gaining familiarity with BIM concepts and IFC standards to support

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AI-powered development pipelines.
• Familiar with AWS and IaC (Terraform).
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD on GitLab.
• Willingness to learn BIM/IFC concepts.
• Knowledge of computational geometry is a plus.

• Understanding of or willingness to learn Building Information Modeling (BIM) concepts and IFC standards
• Knowledge of computational geometry is a plus
