The Lead Security Architect will drive enterprise-wide Security Architecture strategy, oversee AI architectures, Zero Trust principles, threat models and reference designs, reporting to the Head of Information Security Architecture and Risk Assessment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• AI Security guardrails and frameworks.
• Infrastructure and Systems Security.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI, Zero Trust, Infrastructure and Application security architecture strategy and execution across Singtel IT and Enterprise.
• Partner with enterprise architects, solution designers and leadership to deliver secure, resilient solutions.
• Perform threat modelling and risk assessments across Singtel Singapore.

Role Summary:

• Lead Security Architect is a senior cybersecurity leader responsible for driving the organization’s enterprise-wide Security Architecture strategy. This role oversees implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) architectures, Infrastructure and Application security architectures, Zero Trust secure architecture principles, threat models, security reference architectures and design patterns.
• This role will partner closely with enterprise architects, solution designers, application teams, technology infrastructure, devsecops, project management and executive leadership to deliver secure and resilient solutions.
• Singtel has diverse technology ecosystems and lead security architect needs to be able to cope with varying complexities in terms of business requirements, system, network and application architecture. Additionally, while there are differing business and technical considerations, Architect needs to able to align the stakeholders from Singtel IT and Enterprise to adopt common Zero Trust technology components.
• This role will report into the Head of Information Security Architecture and Risk Assessment.

How You will Make An Impact:

• Strategic Leadership:
  • Establish Artificial Intelligence (AI), Zero Trust security, Infrastructure Security and Application Security architecture strategy and execution across Singtel IT and Enterprise.
  • Plan, prioritize and develop roadmap to enhance Cyber capabilities and incorporate into Annual Operating Plan.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and new trends in Cybersecurity.
  • Keep abreast of emerging risks (e.g., Quantum), industry wide attacks and mitigations.
• Executive Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Present thematic architecture gaps and risk posture to executive leadership and governance committees.
  • Translate technical cyber risks into business impact language.
• Initiatives and Programs Oversight:
  • Lead execution of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Zero Trust security, Infrastructure Security and Application Security initiatives across Singtel Singapore.
  • Perform Threat Modelling and Risk Assessments across various BU’s in Singtel Singapore.
  • Develop reusable Security reference architectures and design patterns.

Skills for Success:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or its equivalent.
• 6 Years or more relevant experience.
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) Security Guardrails and Frameworks.
• Infrastructure and Systems Security.
• Application Security.
• Threat Modelling
• Zero Trust Security Architecture principles.
• Experience in Security by Design principles
• Knowledge of Quantum Security
• One or more Industry security Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP or other equivalent industry certifications.
• Orchestrate across cross-functional teams, make sound decisions under pressure, and manage expectations.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management decision-making, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
