Job summary

Singtel is seeking a Lead Security Architect to drive enterprise‑wide Security Architecture strategy, focusing on Zero Trust, threat modelling, and secure reference architectures across IT and Enterprise. You will partner with enterprise architects, design teams, and leadership to deliver resilient security patterns.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or its equivalent.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of network and infrastructure security.
• Experience with Zero Trust and security architectures.
• Familiarity with industry security certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish Zero Trust security architecture strategy and execute across Singtel IT and Enterprise.
• Plan and develop a roadmap to enhance cyber capabilities for the Annual Operating Plan.
• Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies and trends.
• Monitor emerging risks and industry-wide attacks and mitigations.
• Present architecture gaps and risk posture to executive leadership and governance committees.
• Translate technical cyber risks into business impact language.
• Lead execution of Zero Trust security initiatives across Singtel IT and Enterprise Business.
• Perform threat modelling and risk assessments across various projects.
• Develop reusable security reference architectures and design patterns.

Role Summary

Lead Security Architect is a senior cybersecurity leader responsible for driving the organization’s enterprise‑wide Security Architecture strategy. This role oversees implementation of Zero Trust secure architecture principles, deliver threat models, security reference architectures and design patterns.

This role will partner closely with enterprise architects, solution designers, application teams, technology infrastructure, devsecops, project management and executive leadership to deliver secure and resilient solutions.

Singtel has diverse technology ecosystems and lead security architect needs to be able to cope with varying complexities in terms of business requirements, system, network and application architecture. Additionally, while there are differing business and technical considerations, Architect needs to able to align the stakeholders from Singtel IT and Enterprise to adopt common Zero Trust technology components.

This role will report into the Head of Information Security Architecture and Risk Assessment.

Strategic Leadership

How You will Make An Impact:

• Establish Zero Trust security architecture strategy and execution across Singtel IT and Enterprise.
• Plan, prioritize and develop roadmap to enhance Cyber capabilities and incorporate into Annual Operating Plan.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and new trends in Cybersecurity.
• Keep abreast of emerging risks, industry wide attacks and mitigations.

Executive Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement

• Present thematic architecture gaps and risk posture to executive leadership and governance committees.
• Translate technical cyber risks into business impact language.

Initiatives And Programs Oversight

• Lead execution of Zero trust security initiatives across Singtel IT and Enterprise Business.
• Perform Threat Modelling and Risk Assessments across various Singtel IT and Enterprise projects.
• Develop reusable Security reference architectures and design patterns.

Skills For Success

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or its equivalent.
• 8 Years or more relevant experience
• Network Security such as macro/micro segmentation, ZTNA, SASE, SDWAN, Perimeter security.
• Infrastructure and Systems Security.
• Threat Modelling.
• Zero Trust Security Architecture.
• Experience in Security by Design principles.
• One or more Industry security Certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, CISM, CCSP or other equivalent industry certifications.
• Orchestrate across cross‑functional teams, make sound decisions under pressure, and manage expectations.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management decision‑making, communication, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
