Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Product Policy Manager, Search Policy, within the Trust & Safety team in Singapore. You will work with product managers, data scientists, and legal stakeholders to craft safety policies for Search and related product features.

You will identify safety risks for new launches, support safe go-to-market, and drive policy implementation across cross-functional teams across time zones. The role involves handling sensitive content and enforcing safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technology with policy development, program management, or risk assessment.
• Experience working with engineering, product, and design teams to implement policy solutions.
• Experience working with international partners across different time zones.
• Ability to handle complex and sometimes graphic material.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address safety risks for new Search policies and features.
• Support safe development and go-to-market of Search features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement safety solutions.
• Provide input from a user-safety perspective for feature launches.
• Develop enforcement requirements and training for UGC policies and safety strategies.
• Promote user safety through product safety features and strategy.
• Research Trust and Safety best practices and identify policy gaps and conflicts.
• Set goals to continuously improve safety of Search features.
• Build consensus on global feature policies with product, operations, legal, and communications teams.
