Job summary

NEXadept in Singapore seeks a Senior Robotics System Engineer to own robotic system development, integration, testing and deployment. You will work across sensors, software and hardware to deliver reliable robotic solutions for real-world environments.

Candidates with backgrounds in Robotics, AMR/AGV, autonomous systems or embedded systems are welcome; strong C++/Python skills and ROS/ROS2 experience are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Professional experience in robotics, AMR/AGV, autonomous systems or embedded systems.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python.
• Hands-on experience with robotic system integration and real-time systems.
• Familiarity with ROS/ROS2 and robotic software frameworks.
• Experience with sensors like LiDAR, IMU, cameras or depth sensors.
• Ability to work across engineering disciplines and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and integration of AMR robotic platforms from prototype to deployment.
• Develop and optimise control and system-level software for mobile robots.
• Integrate and configure sensors including LiDAR, cameras, depth cameras, and IMU.
• Work with ROS/ROS2 and navigation frameworks to integrate software and hardware.
• Conduct commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, mechanical, electrical, and external teams.
• Support transition from prototype to production, including hardware selection and documentation.
