National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for a Research Fellow in Unmanned Systems and Multi-Agent Robot Systems at the Kent Ridge Campus. The role focuses on counter-UAS technologies, autonomous robotics, and distributed decision-making within a collaborative research project.

The candidate will lead algorithm design, software integration with UAV hardware, and experimental validation while mentoring researchers and reporting progress to sponsors.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant discipline (Aerospace, Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, CS or AI).
• Strong background in autonomous robotic systems, UAS or multi-agent robotics.
• Excellent programming in Python and/or C++.
• Experience with ROS/ROS 2, Linux, Git, and hardware integration.

Responsabilités

• Lead research in Counter-UAS, autonomous robotics, and multi-agent systems.
• Develop algorithms for detection, tracking, and interception of hostile UAVs.
• Integrate software with UAV hardware and embedded platforms; mentor juniors and researchers.
• Publish findings in top journals and conferences; prepare reports for sponsors.
