Job summary

My client, a leading material technology company in Singapore, is seeking an R&D Principal Chemist to lead the development of polymeric marking solutions for plastic materials, conducting experiments and scaling successful prototypes for production.

You will manage the lab, oversee testing, ensure safety standards, coordinate with stakeholders and support client technology implementation with clear technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical/polymer engineering.
• 8+ years hands-on lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of polymeric marking solutions, including formulation and application of markers/codes.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed technical reports to senior management.
• Coordinate testing schedules and oversee execution of tests and pilots with internal and external facilities.
• Assist in the planning and execution of technology implementation projects for clients, ensuring alignment with timelines.
