Job summary

kaszon pte ltd is seeking a Senior QAQC Engineer to lead quality assurance on large-scale building projects in Singapore. You will conduct daily QAQC checks, prepare monthly reports for Corporate QAQC, and train sub-contractors in quality procedures.

You will work with site engineers to ensure CONQUAS standards and method statements are followed, and liaise with BCA for assessments, addressing QC concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Architectural- or structural-trained background.
• 5+ years as Senior QAQC Engineer on large-scale building projects.
• Ability to communicate clearly.
• Independent, meticulous, analytical and proactive with tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of construction quality control/assurance.
• BCA-Approved CONQUAS training or ISO 9001:2015 certification.
• Hospital experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QAQC daily checks.
• Prepare monthly QAQC reports for Corporate QAQC Department.
• Conduct monthly QAQC training for sub-contractors.
• Issue QAQC non-compliance notices to sub-contractors.
• Attend monthly QAQC presentations with Corporate QAQC Department.
• Inspect works to ensure compliance with method statements per BCA Good Industry Practice.
• Arrange liaising with BCA for CONQUAS/QM assessments and act as liaison with clients and consultants on QA/QC matters.
• Work with site engineers to ensure construction methods comply with CONQUAS specifications and provide QA/QC guidance.
