Job summary

china construction realty co. pte. ltd. is seeking a Senior QAQC Engineer with 5+ years on major building projects.

The role requires ensuring QA/QC compliance with method statements, coordinating CONQUAS/QM assessments with BCA, and mentoring site teams on quality protocols. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential. Experience in residential projects and relevant quality certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Architectural- or structural-trained work experience.
• Min 5 years’ experience as a Senior QAQC Engineer on large-scale building projects.
• Experience in managing Quality Marks assessment processes or certifications is a plus.
• BCA-Approved CONQUAS training or ISO 9001:2015 certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Issue QAQC non-compliances to subcontractors.
• Attend monthly QAQC presentations at Corporate QAQC Department.

• Collaborate with site engineers to ensure CONQUAS-compliant construction methods and provide quality guidance.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Conduct QAQC daily checks
• Prepare monthly QAQC report for submission to Corporate QAQC Department
• Conducting monthly QAQC Training to Sub-contractors
• Issuance of QAQC Non-compliance to sub-contractors
• Attend monthly QAQC presentation and meeting at Corporate QAQC Department
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure works are in compliance with method statements (in accordance to BCA’s Good Industry Practice & approval from the clients and consultants)
• Arrange and liaise with BCA for CONQUAS/QM assessments. Act as the primary quality liaison with clients and consultants, updating them on QA/QC matters and addressing quality concerns directly related to CONQUAS scoring.
• Work closely with site engineers and supervisors to ensure construction methods comply with CONQUAS specifications, providing guidance on quality protocols and rectifications or even conducting relevant training as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Architectural-trained or Structural-trained work experience
• Min 5 years’ experience as a Senior QAQC Engineer in large-scale building main construction projects (e.g. A1 contractors).with added experience in managing Quality Marks assessment processes or certifications a significant advantage
• Candidates with strong relevant experience may be considered for a managerial role
• Able to communicate effectively and clearly
• Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive & able to meet tight deadlines
• Good knowledge of construction quality control/assurance is necessary
• Certifications: BCA-Approved CONQUAS training or relevant quality certification such as ISO 9001:2015 in Quality Management Systems.
• Candidates with experience in residential projects, particularly condominium and HDB developments, will have an advantage
