Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) seeks a construction project coordinator to support project managers, procurement, and site teams in Singapore. You will review submittals, RFIs, and bid packages, track schedules, and maintain up-to-date project documentation to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering and 5+ years of experience on construction projects, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a safety course preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • More than 5 years of working experience on construction projects.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • A workplace safety and health risk management course is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the project manager, superintendent and procurement with purchasing, expediting and receiving material and equipment for the project.
  • Assists in the preparation, issuance, and receipt of bid packages between field teams and procurement for review and tabulation.
  • Assists with managing the project schedule on a regular basis, identifies schedule conflicts, and assists the construction and project managers in their resolution.
  • Actively manages field coordination of subcontractors and quality management.
  • Manages and maintains all project documentation to ensure the most current project documents are communicated to the construction team.
  • Drives the project team in the timely completion of all required project closeout documents per contract, including turnover packages, as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, owner training, punch lists, and other related items.
  • Assists with scheduling of project team meetings with all required personnel; takes and issues meeting minutes as required.

Overview

Provides support and co-leading with construction and project managers to include receiving, logging, reviewing, tracking, expediting, and distribution of submittals, RFIs, and other project control documentation. Receives and reviews submittals returned from the architect or engineer and notifies the project team of potential cost and/or schedule impacts based on review comments. Develops a comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of the contract documents (plans, specifications, schedule, etc.). Collects data, assembles, and distributes various weekly reports as required.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualification: A bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum Years of Experience: More than 5 years of working experience.
  • Type of Experience: Experience working on construction projects and in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Safety Course(s): A workplace safety and health risk management course is preferred.
