Job summary

ACRA seeks a dynamic Lead / Principal Product Manager to shape the vision, strategy, and execution of its product portfolio and to collaborate across engineering, design, marketing, sales and support teams. You will drive product innovation, ensure market fit, and deliver value to customers in a fast-paced public sector environment.

The role oversees the full lifecycle from ideation to launch, builds roadmaps, and defines metrics to measure success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product management with a track record of successful products.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Lead / Principal Product Manager to lead our product team. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of ACRA product portfolio. The Lead / Principal Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation, ensure market fit, and deliver exceptional value to our customers.

What you will be doing

• Strategic Vision and Leadership: Develop and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy aligned with the agency's overall goals. Lead the product team to achieve this vision.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Market and Customer Research: Conduct thorough market analysis and customer research to identify needs, trends, and opportunities. Utilize insights to inform product development and positioning.
• Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that prioritizes features and enhancements based on business impact, customer feedback, and market demand.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the product development process.
• Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) or OKRs to measure product success and inform decision-making. Use data-driven insights to make informed adjustments to the product strategy.
• Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer within the organization. Ensure that customer needs and feedback are integrated into product planning and development.
• Innovation and Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive product evolution.
• Lead in development of digital roadmap and introduction of appropriate digital solutions to partner with cross functional business teams, WOG and industry partners to achieve greater business outcomes
• Lead in organisation wide Digital, Design and Data capabilities development, digital innovation and continuous improvement to build a high performing team
• Support the annual submission of the Digital Government Blueprint (DGB) KPIs to Smart Nation Office, and support MOF in the preparation of Ministry Family Digitalisation Plan

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of managing successful products.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
