Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking an experienced HSE/Fire Protection Engineer in Singapore to lead design safety philosophy, HSE plans, and specifications for fire protection systems both active and passive.

The role includes hazard reviews, RAM and F-G mapping, and preparing safety drawings for offshore and onshore facilities. The candidate will review third party safety studies and independently perform similar safety analyses, while mentoring engineers and coordinating with multiple disciplines to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 12 years of HSE engineering experience in Oil & Gas, with process safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Design safety philosophy, HSE plan, and specs for fire protection systems (active and passive).
• Participate in hazard reviews (HAZOP/HAZID/SIL) and ensure actions close-out.
• Review third party safety studies (FERA, dispersion analysis, QRA, etc.).
• Independently carry out safety studies and review RAM, fire and gas mapping.
• Design Hazardous/H2S Area Classification documentation and safety drawings.
• Lead RAM, safety deliverables, and interface with other engineering disciplines and clients.
• Provide health and environmental inputs including risk assessments and environmental impact analyses.
• Deliver project safety outputs on schedule and support progress reports.
