Job summary

UWCSEA East is seeking a visionary Primary School Student Support Strategic Lead (K–5) for August 2027. Lead a multidisciplinary team delivering Learning Support, EAL, SEL/Counselling, and Occupational Therapy to ensure inclusive access and cognitive challenge aligned with the Learning Programme.

The role focuses on systems innovation, data-informed practice, and central dashboards to monitor and review progress, with collaboration across the school to support every learner.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or postgraduate qualification in Special Education, Inclusive Education, Educational Leadership, or a related domain is essential.
• A recognised teaching qualification with 5–8 years’ teaching and leadership experience.
• Experience with multidisciplinary teams across Learning Support, EAL, SEL and related services.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Primary Student Support within K–5 to ensure inclusive practices and holisitc learner support.
• Lead streamlined referral pathways and central data systems for monitoring student support.
• Coach staff to interpret screening and assessment data to guide targeted interventions.
