Job summary

fa systems automation (s) pte ltd is seeking an accomplished System Architect for PLC software in automation and semiconductor equipment. You will define and standardize scalable PLC architectures, lead architecture reviews, and mentor engineers on best practices.

Requirements include 8–10 years hands-on PLC automation experience, proficiency with major PLC platforms (Omron, Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Beckhoff, Keyence), and strong knowledge of EtherCAT, Modbus TCP/IP, SECS/GEM, and OPC UA.

Qualifications

8–10 years hands-on PLC automation experience.
Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Automation.
Experience with major PLC platforms: Omron, Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Beckhoff, Keyence.
Strong knowledge of industrial protocols: EtherCAT, Modbus TCP/IP, SECS/GEM, OPC UA.
Proven leadership in guiding software teams and design reviews.

Responsibilities

Design and develop PLC software architectures for automation and semiconductor equipment.
Define I/O structures, state machines, interlocks, safety, and fail-safe strategies.
Lead and mentor software engineers on PLC design and best practices.
Review software quality, coding standards, and project deliverables.
Support project planning, risk assessment, and customer technical discussions.
