Job summary

RoviSys Singapore seeks an experienced automation engineer to support site automation for pharmaceutical and chemical processes. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, capture user requirements, and act as the technical liaison with Utilities, Production, Quality, and Automation.

Prior PLC/SCADA and batch experience is essential. You will develop standards, participate in FAT/IOQ activities, and contribute to project execution from design through validation, collaborating with stakeholders

Qualifications

Experience in Pharmaceutical, Food, Petrochemical, Chemical plant automation.
Experience with wet and dry process, blending and packaging areas.
Experience with Siemens PLC (Step7/TIA Portal) at least 3 years.
Technical knowledge of batch and recipe management systems; GE knowledge is a plus.
Knowledge of industrial computer systems connectivity and Kepware.
Ability to read P&ID’s and process descriptions.
Experience in lifecycle documentation, FAT, IOQ testing.
Familiarity with ISA S95/S88 and GMP requirements.
Experience in Computer System Validation; strong communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

Serves as a primary technical contact for customers.
Develops quality plans for projects and monitors quality throughout the lifecycle.
Develops engineering standards to streamline processes and boost efficiency.
Lead PLC programming, SCADA and Batch modifications per design specifications.
Handle infrastructure installation and server-client/communication setup.
Author design and test documentation.
Provide technical sales support with hour assessments and resource loading estimates.
