Job summary

AMTSOL is seeking a PLC/SCADA CSV Engineer to validate automation hardware, software, and interfaces in Singapore for GMP-compliant pharmaceutical manufacturing projects. The role covers IQ/OQ/PQ, risk assessments, and validation reporting across PLC/SCADA systems.

You will qualify hardware, PLC software, SCADA applications, and interfaces while supporting FAT/SAT, commissioning, and system handover within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of PLC/SCADA CSV experience in GMP-regulated environments.
• Proven experience qualifying automation hardware and validating PLC/SCADA code.
• Strong knowledge of GAMP 5, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11 and GMP data integrity.
• Experience with PLC platforms (Siemens, Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Schneider, or Mitsubishi).
• Experience with SCADA platforms (WinCC, FactoryTalk, AVEVA/Wonderware, Ignition, or iFIX).
• Knowledge of industrial communications: OPC, Profinet, Profibus, Modbus TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP.

Responsibilities

• Execute the CSV lifecycle for PLC and SCADA systems, including IQ, OQ, PQ, regression testing, and validation reporting.
• Qualify hardware infrastructure including PLCs, I/O, HMI terminals, SCADA servers/workstations, networks, and virtualization.
• Validate PLC software and control logic including Ladder Logic, SFC, Structured Text, alarms, interlocks, sequences, and recipes.
• Validate SCADA applications including HMI graphics, alarm management, historian, audit trails, security, and system interfaces.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, qualification, system handover, and approved changes.
• Verify data-integrity controls including user accounts, electronic signatures, backups, and time synchronization.
• Support industrial cybersecurity, system hardening, and validated infrastructure controls.
• Coordinate integration and interface testing with MES, ERP, DCS, and package equipment systems.
• Manage deviations, change controls, test discrepancies, vendor evidence, and validation documentation through closure.
• Coordinate with Automation, CQV, Quality, IT/OT, Manufacturing, vendors, and system-integrator teams.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
