Job summary

Philips is seeking an experienced Plastic Tooling & Injection Moulding Process Engineer to support new product development, tooling industrialization, process validation, and production launches across sites.

You will collaborate with PDLM, NPI, Engineering, R&D and tooling suppliers to optimize moulding processes, run DoE, perform process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), and ensure smooth transfer to mass production.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electronics, Polymer, Plastics Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in plastic tooling and injection moulding process engineering.
• Hands-on experience in plastic mould design, tooling manufacture, mould trials, and tooling validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate within PDLM project teams with cross-site teams and suppliers.
• Evaluate new product designs for manufacturability and tooling requirements.
• Plan and execute DOE to optimize processes and identify critical parameters.
• Support process and tooling validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and create process documentation.
