Job summary

Qualifications

• Education in Exercise Physiology or related discipline preferred.
• At least 6 years in human performance, exercise physiology, strength and conditioning, recovery, and optimisation.
• Strong knowledge of exercise physiology and evidence-based practice.
• Proficiency in data analytics and interpretation.
• Effective stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of evidence-based training solutions.
• Integrate sports science, nutrition and performance data to enhance training effectiveness while reducing injury risk.
• Design and oversee robust studies, trials and evaluations.
• Generate credible evidence for training policy and programme decisions.
• Evaluate wearables and emerging human performance technologies for military application.
• Provide scientific leadership across the organisation, mentoring Performance Scientists and upholding standards.
• Translating sports science into practical scalable training solutions that meet operational needs while balancing safety and performance.
