Job summary

Lumilens is seeking an Optical Manufacturing Test Engineer in Singapore to validate and ensure the quality of photonic components, modules, and systems throughout NPI and volume manufacturing. You will work with optical design, hardware, and manufacturing teams to perform design-for-manufacturing and test planning.

The role requires hands-on experience with optical test instruments, development of test reports, and driving continuous improvements in test yield and cycle time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 7+ years experience in high-volume optical transceiver manufacturing or automated test system development.
• Experience with 400G/800G/1.6T transceiver tests preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end manufacturing test processes and change control per QMS.
• Analyze test results for compliance with specs and quality standards.
• Develop, validate and release testers for production.
• Improve test yield, cycle time, throughput and reduce scrap.
• Collaborate with QA for qualification testing and with design/DFM guidelines.
