Job summary

GoTo Financial is seeking a passionate Lead Data Scientist to shape multilingual LLMs for Indonesia and regional languages. You will design datasets, pretraining, fine-tuning and alignment, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to ship safe LLM-powered features to millions of users.

The role involves building large-scale corpora, benchmarking, safety alignment, and deploying production-grade solutions within the GoTo Group’s fintech ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in CS, DS, AI or related field.
• Proficient Python and DL frameworks.
• Experience deploying models to production.

Responsibilities

• Work with multilingual corpora including text, audio, and image modalities.
• Build datasets for pretraining, SFT, RLHF and evaluation.
• Scale multilingual LLMs from pretraining to supervised fine-tuning and alignment.
• Implement state-of-the-art methods for efficient and scalable operations.
• Improve safety alignment and guardrails for responsible model behavior.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to deploy production-grade LLM features.
• Stay current with advancements in AI technologies.
