Job summary

MiRXES is seeking a Scientist in the Clinical Laboratory to perform, validate, and interpret high-complexity molecular diagnostic testing using qPCR and NGS, in a CAP/CLIA-compliant environment. The role emphasizes developing assays, validating workflows, and generating timely patient results.

The successful candidate will design workflows, write SOPs, establish QC criteria, train staff, and collaborate with product teams to translate cutting-edge research into clinical services in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in molecular biology (MSc or PhD).
• Experience with qPCR and NGS in a clinical lab.
• Ability to design and validate molecular assays and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead molecular assay development and validation in a clinical service lab.
• Implement validated LDTs or IVDs with hands-on leadership.
• Plan validation tests, establish QC, write reports.
• Train and mentor technical staff.
